What is HMO cleaning?
An HMO, or house in multiple occupation, is a property where several tenants who are not one household share facilities like the kitchen and bathroom. Shared spaces are used by everyone, so they need regular cleaning to stay in good condition.
Our HMO cleaning covers the shared areas of the property on a regular schedule. Tenants’ own rooms are not included unless you ask us to clean them, for example when a tenant moves out.
Regular cleaning helps keep the property in good condition, makes it more pleasant for tenants and gives you a clearer picture of how the property is being looked after.

Which areas do you clean in an HMO?
We clean the shared areas, such as the kitchen, bathrooms, living areas, hallways and stairs. We agree the exact areas with you before we start.
Do you clean tenants’ rooms?
Not as part of regular HMO cleaning. We can clean individual rooms on request, for example when a tenant moves out.
How often can you clean?
We agree a schedule that suits the property, such as weekly or fortnightly.
Do tenants need to be there?
No. Access is agreed with you before the first clean.
Will you tell me about problems in the property?
Yes. If we notice something that needs your attention, we let you know.
Can you clean several HMOs?
Yes. We can look after several properties, with one point of contact for all of them.
How is the price worked out?
Your price depends on the size of the property, the shared areas and how often you want us. It is agreed before we start.
